10 Ways EA Can Vastly Improve FIFA’s Career Mode

2. Option To Play As A Real Manager

Picture this: you step into the shoes of Man City's brilliant Pep Guardiola and mastermind an unbeaten season. Or, you become Jürgen Klopp and charm the media (with those snazzy new cut scenes, hopefully) into submission. Or, you're ex-Arsenal patriarch Arsène Wenger, on the lookout for the next job that'll let you prove your career isn't finished.

That all sounds a bit more exciting than becoming M.Manager, inexperienced nobody taking charge of a Premier League titan even though the media think you're a loser, doesn't it?

FIFA lets us play as football's top players, so why not extend that by letting us live vicariously through the world's most notable managers or retiring greats? It'd be something to become John Terry and take those first nervy steps into the hot seat, or see if Rafa Benítez has another big job in him at the top of the division.

It's possible to play as real players in Be A Pro, and thus it should be possible to work as real managers in Career Mode. There's nothing stopping EA from making that a reality.
