10 Ways The Nintendo Switch Is Better Than PS4 & Xbox One

2. Tiny Game Sizes Make The 'Digital Revolution' Make Sense

Remember when the industry proclaimed the death of physical media? It tends to happen every couple of years, with one of the main reasons being that with ginormous (for their time) 500GB HDD sizes, we'd never need to visit a brick n' mortar store again.

Though... that didn't factor in the average size of a triple-A game on both PS4 and Xbox One - which tends to clock in around 60GB, if not more. There's also the staggering oversight on PS4 where the system has to have enough free space for a game plus any subsequent patches i.e. they don't install 'into' the original file size, meaning you're forever deleting and freeing up space every couple of weeks.

Needless to say, being on cartridge means the Switch can load without hefty file sizes cluttering up your hard drive, and even Breath of the Wild is only 13.4GB if downloaded entirely. On top of that, ARMS is a teensy 2.2GB in full, and Splatoon 2 is just 3.1GB.

Yes, you'll have to fork out for an additional SD card once that 32GB install is maxed out, but grab something like a 128GB one and you're set for life.
