10 Ways To Make A Godzilla Video Game That Doesn't Suck
6. Destruction Mode
You cant have a Godzilla game without multiplayer; plain and simple. Nobody wants to be limited to playing by themselves; there is just too much fun to be had fighting monsters and destroying cities with your friends. Indeed, multiplayer is another mode that is unquestionably necessary for any Godzilla game, especially nowadays. The competitive and destructive nature of the franchise just too perfectly suited for it. While it is a no brainer to allow players to fight each other as their favourite monster, destroying together can be just as fun. For this reason there should be some kind of sandbox mode that lets you rampage at your leisure within a fully destructible environment either by yourself or with other players. Past games have actually done this, but with the current technology available it could be done better than ever before. Not only would it be universally welcomed and add hours of additional gameplay, but it would distinguish it from other games amidst an increasingly homogenised industry. Not enough video games let you cut loose and unleash your inner wrath in such a way, which is why the addition of this mode would greatly increase the value of a Godzilla game.
