3. Yoru Plays Dungeons And Dragons - Valorant

Although Valorant’s story happens outside of its Counter Strike-like matches, the game actually comes with rather expansive lore that often bleeds into the in-game voice lines of the playable agents.

And sometimes, the things you learn from these voice lines seem to actually contrast with the established storyline.

Yoru is a Japanese agent who’s known as a ruthless lone wolf. He’s an incredibly effective operative who takes his duties very seriously, and at the beginning of his work for VALORANT, he would even consider his fellow agents as unnecessary obstacles on his way to accomplishing his mission.

With a personality like this and a backstory that paints him as a former thief and a callous killer, capable of taking down twenty people at once, you’d think Yoru wouldn’t be caught doing anything lighthearted and/or silly.

And yet, with the introduction of Clove, another agent who’s one specific hobby is playing Dungeons and Dragons, it turns out Yoru is secretly their partner in roleplaying games!

A dialogue between Yoru and Clove reveals that Yoru frequents Clove’s Dunegons and Dragons games, and apparently he’s quite tardy too, as he keeps forgetting to turn out his character sheets in time.

Not so scary and aloof now, are we, Yoru?
