8. Bob The Killer Goldfish - Earthworm Jim 2
Earthworm Jim is a game based on a cartoon series about a normal worm who finds a suit that imbues him with the powers of man (ie; arms and legs). In the excellent Earthworm Jim videogames, you battle against Bob the Killer Goldfish, a fish bent on intergalactic domination.
So right off the bat, we're getting into some pretty weird territory.
In the first game your encounter with Bob comes after a great deal of buildup, only to find that all you need to do is knock his tank onto the floor and watch him flop around, because y'know... he is only a goldfish. However, it's the Bob battle from the Earthworm Jim sequel that gets a place on this list, for upping the weird factor to new realms.
The second encounter with Bob is essentially the same as in the first game, only this time we get a cool Mortal Kombat style "FIGHT" announcement. Then Jim eats Bob, propels himself skywards with a plank and an anvil, and is congratulated by a cow. In that order.
