10 Worst Gaming Moments Of 2014

1. Destiny Disappoints

Destiny was far from the worst game of the year, but it€™s fair to say that it was probably the most disappointing. More hyped than any other release in 2014, Destiny was to be Bungie€™s magnum opus, a vast, online masterpiece that blended co-op adventuring with the brilliant gunplay of the developer€™s past titles. Sadly, Destiny fell short for a number of reasons. It€™s incredibly grindy, seemingly rewarding those with excessive time to kill over player skill. Players found themselves revisiting areas over and over again, in order to pump ammunition into the same, bullet-sponge enemies. Rather than improving with updates, Destiny has received further criticism over time. The €˜Dark Below€™ DLC alienated half its player-base, by periodically locking off certain content that was previously accessible. Destiny has its high points, particularly in some of the more difficult endgame content, but for the most part it felt like a wildly missed opportunity. What was your worst gaming moment of 2014?
