10 Worst Middle-Stage Pokémon

While Torchic is precious, it's a difficult choice in Ruby & Sapphire in that most of the Pokémon from Team Magma/Aqua either check it or completely counter it. Plus, Hoenn has more water than perhaps any other region, so Torchic often struggles with trainer battles and with wild Pokémon. But then, to make it all worse, it evolves into this gross chicken with a color distribution and round thighs that make its body look...well, phallic.

I suppose this gives new meaning to the term "cockfight".

Anyway, while Combusken is fairly useful in battle, its dumpiness makes Torchic an even more regrettable choice by proxy and it devalues Blaziken when it finally evolves at level 36. Yes, Blaziken is a badass, but the victory of getting it is a pyrrhic one because you've had to lumber around a sentient, sunburnt c**k and b*lls for 20 levels to get there.
