8. Flip Wars

A cool idea that should never have been thought enough to hang an entire game on, Flip Wars is Bomberman where instead of explosions, you're flipping tiles on the environment.

That's it.

Yes, really. Though Flip Wars' is rendered serviceably enough, when it comes to art direction there's an immediate feeling of box-ticking that never gets upended by gameplay or narrative. In the latter's case there isn't one, as being this is aiming to be a carefree multiplayer-only experience, the hook should have come from a huge amount of maps, modes and power-ups keeping you routed to the spot for hours.

In reality we only have three maps, two modes and zero replayablity. Once you've had a match of either, that's it - there's nothing to unlock, no single player and no meaningful progression whatsoever.
