10 Worst Nintendo Switch Games Of 2017

7. Troll & I

Troll and I
Spiral House

In trailers, Troll & I looked like a raucous fairytale romp, almost on the same level as Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons (get THAT on the Switch), but the reality is manufactured quality showing segments from the beginning of the game - the part that was tested far more thoroughly.

Now, clearly some people over at developers Spiral House did care (at one point) about making a neat third-person action game with two main characters. Main man Otto's Link-green tunic is evidence enough, and awesomely, it can be played in split-screen co-op (which was part of why so many parents bought Troll & I to play with their kids).

Yet every aspect of the game on Switch cements it as something that holds up fine in trailers, yet falls apart completely after purchase. This is mainly down to bugs, glitches, crashes - just a complete lack of play-testing. Troll & I will routinely crash back to the Switch dashboard for no reason, textures will not load and items will clip through one another - it's simply not a pleasant experience to watch or play in motion.

Not to mention, its marketing has been deceptive as hell.
