Most of us dinosaurs played the original Frogger on the Atari, and it sure was fun. Then, a hundred years later, Sony was using a nearly identical version of the original as an incentive for people to sign up. The big difference between this version and the original however, was the inclusion of multiplayer. Go head to head with other players in a race to cross the road, alongside a few other game modes - providing you could force one of your friends or family members to play a decades-old game with you. Of course, with an idea such as multiplayer Frogger, it would make perfect sense to not include an online mode to play against other frogs around the world. Really, you couldn't play online. It probably doesn't matter at this point since there likely wouldn't be anyone playing it after all these years, but it would have been nice to at least have the option when the game was first released. Other than that snafu, it was essentially the exact same experience from all those years ago, only with slightly updated graphics. Nobody in the universe bought a PS3 to play Frogger, and it showed.
Any time I'm not writing, I'm likely arguing about children's cartoons with strangers on the internet or staring at my ceiling and wondering where it all went wrong.
