10 Worst Power-Ups In Gaming History

Easily the worst power-up on our list. However, it’s somewhat of a joke item and is one of the very unique power-ups found in Mario Maker. For example, there are numerous items that will change you into the many different Nintendo characters available to play as in the level editor game. The reason to use those is so you can completely change the way the level is played, adding specific gameplay elements to better suit certain characters.

The Weird Mushroom, though, is something ghastly and unnatural. The most horrific thing you will ever see, in a mix between Luigi, Mario and Waluigi, all morphed into one. When picked up, Mario turns into a tall, lanky, knuckle dragging version of himself, giving him a truly bizarre appearance. Believe it or not, there is actually a single use for it besides shock factor. While lanky, Mario is able to jump like Luigi, higher and longer. But does that excuse the abomination that ensues as a result of this mushroom?
