4. Fluster Cluck
If you think chickens are hilarious, then Fluster Cluck is the game for you. This party game challenges you and up to three other players to capture various creatures and deliver them to machines, that then turn them into chickens. Hilarious, right? Its meant to be the kind of game you gather your friends around to play, but the only thing Fluster Cluck will do is convince them to never hang out with you again. Rearrange a few letters, and youll get an apt description of this game. What should be fast and arcady fun just ends up being boring and frustrating. Inspiration has clearly been taken from old school games like Mario Kart, but it's all so haphazardly put together. The individual gameplay elements never work as a cohesive whole and its too simplistic to be fun. The game intentionally limiting you to splitscreen multiplayer doesn't help either, as in an effort to promote couch gaming (an admirable goal), doing so is practically a death sentence nowadays. With limited gameplay modes, overly simplistic game mechanics and an annoying premise, Fluster Cluck is anything but simple, throwaway fun.
