10 Worst PS4 Games So Far

1. Assassin's Creed: Unity

Many major press outlets named AC: Unity their 'Game of 2014', but not in a good way - more that with the endless list of bugs and issues both mechanical, narrative and in-game, Unity is 'the most 2014-feeling' game; a title emblematic of that year's core failings.

Chances are you've seen the hilarious 'eyes n' teeth' character models where the faces haven't loaded in. Maybe you've watched a video of the frame rate reducing gameplay to a slideshow inside one of the cathedrals, or maybe you've played it yourself and realised that aside from throwing in some Hitman-esque assassination missions, Unity is the first AC that actively took core features out of the experience.

Whichever it is, Ubisoft have since acknowledged just how much they screwed up, offering some previously paid-for DLC for free, alongside a string of weighty patches designed to make the game at least playable.

Many issues remain though, with the most positive thing you can say about the PS4 version being that a 6.5GB patch freed up 'between 2-5 frames' of resolution.

Can you feel the power of your next-gen hardware yet?

It really is ridiculous the game got released, especially with its micro-transaction elements in place and the advertising campaigns stringing people along into buying a broken product, and it's because of all these reasons that not only is Unity a hot mess, but one of its worse versions is sadly on PS4.
