10. Poor Character Customisation
An immediate disappointment for all Star Wars fans booting up Battlefront is how limited the character customisation options are. With a bunch of regular old preset faces and hairstyles to choose from, the game gates options behind level barriers and credit restrictions. This would be fine if the options to choose from were desirable, but all the different characters you can unlock during the course of the title should have been available as default at the very start. To make this worse, the customisation options that open up around level 45 demonstrate just how imaginative these character designs could have been. Giving you a couple of iconic alien races to choose from, Battlefront teases you with imaginative options that should have taken up the entire unlock screen. Instead though, you get the choice of a handful of different human faces and basic, generic hairstyles across both Imperial and Rebel characters. No different armour. No different races. No different helmets. Battlefront gives you the option to personalise your character, but until you reach the highest levels you probably won't want to bother.
