10 Worst Video Games Based On Comic Books

1. Superman 64

If you clicked on this article having played some bad games over the years, you knew this one was coming. Superman 64 is arguably the worst video game based on a comic book character ever made, and it is awful. You'd think playing as the most powerful being in the universe would be fun... it's not.

The game was designed with the knowledge that being an unstoppable godlike being isn't necessarily fun, so instead of relying on Superman's powers to defeat enemies, he has to accomplish repetitive tasks. The game is like a non-paying job in that regard, and it breaks just about every player who tries it.

Superman is trapped inside a computer simulation by Lex Luthor, which has nerfed his abilities a bit. He can still fly, and he has to do so through rings floating in the sky. Miss one, and you're screwed, as the controls are atrocious!

Everything is timed in this game, so you have to accomplish your repetitive tasks quickly, ensuring you don't make a single mistake. There's literally nothing fun about this video game, which suggests it was developed by people who enjoy watching players suffer! Most never make it beyond the first level.
