10 Worst Video Games Based On Comic Books

6. Batman: Dark Tomorrow

Over the years, Batman has been in more good games than he has been in bad ones. Still, the Dark Knight's crummy games may not outnumber his good ones, but the worst of the bunch is a real stinker. Batman: Dark Tomorrow is the Batman & Robin of video games.

The game was released in 2003 for the GameCube and Xbox, and there was a port designed for the PlayStation 2. That version never released due to the overwhelmingly negative response to the game, which means a fully-developed game was dropped so it wouldn't stink up the PS2 library.

As the game was being designed and developed, it began to look like the open-world fare seen in the Batman: Arkham franchise released years later, but it wasn't meant to be. As development progressed, a ton of content was cut to release it on multiple systems, and it shows.

The gameplay is terrible, and the control scheme is complicated and strange. Dark Tomorrow is repetitive and filled with bugs, while the camera is terribly frustrating and difficult to manage. Batman is nerfed for the title, and anyone who considers themselves a fan should never play this title, as it's barely a Batman game.
