10 Worst Video Games Based On Comic Books

7. Iron Man

When Iron Man finally came to live-action in 2008, the MCU was launched, and Marvel superhero movies would never be the same again. There are plenty of video games that are released as tie-ins to movies, and while they usually suck as little more than flagrant cash-grabs, some have stood on their own merit.

Iron Man is not one of those titles. Marvel had a lot going for its license on this game, which was released on the PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii, but all the goodwill was squandered. Iron Man is a character who should be perfect for becoming a video game character.

He flies, shoots lasers, and can beat the crap out of some of Marvel's heaviest hitters. Unfortunately, Iron Man was the same as just about every video game made to coincide with a movie release. It was terrible, and the final product suggested the devs didn't even try to make it work.

The controls are horrible, the graphics are unpolished, and the gameplay is horribly repetitive. GameSpot called it the "Worst Game Everyone Played" in 2008, and it ranks well under 15/100 on most aggregate rating sites. Instead of playing this game, just rewatch the movie.
