10 Worst Video Games Based On Comic Books

4. Catwoman

Catwoman PS2
Electronic Arts

Typically, a video game based on a comic sucks because it doesn't live up to the fans' expectations, but that's not the case for Catwoman. The game wasn't based on the comic book character; rather, it was based on the awful "adaptation" of the character seen in the 2004 film.

That movie is arguably one of the worst pieces of trash to come out of Hollywood, so it's not as if the game had a lot going for it when it was released. Regardless, it is possible to create a good game off of bad source material, though it's rare.

Catwoman is somehow worse than the movie that inspired it, which is saying something because that flick was absolutely terrible. One of the problems was the overt sexualization of the main character, which works better with Halle Berry in live-action than it does digitized on the small screen. That's just creepy.

Playing this game subjects the player to some of the worst innuendo-filled one-liner dialogue ever recorded. It's sleazy, creepy, and kind of gross. The gameplay isn't great either, but the overall game is bad for its attempt to sexualize the main character. It's cheap, it's stupid, and it results in a crappy game.
