10 Worst Xbox One Games With Gold Releases So Far

1. D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die

D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die - the game with absolutely zero redeeming qualities going for it. Simply put, not a single thing about this game is good. It's an episodic video game, where the ending is a cliffhanger. Strike one. The controls are so bad it's one of the few times playing a game with the Kinect might actually be a better experience. Strike two. The story is so god awful, and nothing but in-your-face quirkiness it gets unbearable within the first 10 minutes. Strike three. This game is most certainly meant to be played with the Kinect because the controls are so bad it's inexcusable. Forcing users without the Kinect to use a slow cursor shaped like a hand (see how hard they're trying to get this Kinect thing across) to interact with so many senseless objects that do nothing. Quick time events are scattered throughout, coming out of seemingly nowhere, where you have to move both thumbsticks in certain directions and hit button prompts. The gamplay is BAD. The story however might be even worse. You're trying to solve the murder of your wife, whom your character calls "Little Peggy" in the creepiest way possible almost any single time he ever gets a chance to. You can time travel to solve this murder in something called "dives". An old detective friend comes over and cooks you food that you must search out and eat or else you run out of stamina and can no longer interact with anything. Oh, and your cat has turned into some woman who wears bikinis around your apartment, because why not. Nothing, absolutely nothing about this game is fun nor funny, as hard as it may try to be and truly is the worst game we've ever received.
