10 Wrestlers You Didn't Know Were In Non-Wrestling Video Games

8. Ric Flair (Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3)

You might think a man known for his flamboyant manner and, shall we say, differently disciplined lifestyle, isn't exactly the perfect fit for a straight-laced, close-cropped veteran military commander, and you'd be completely right. Yet somehow, Ric Flair's natural ludicrousness was a perfect fit for a role as one of Command & Conquer's famously camp-as-daytime-TV characters.

The Nature Boy swapped his customary glittery robes for a clean set of military fatigues as he barked orders under the guise of Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3's Commander Douglas Hill, the grizzled veteran issuing players with a set of 'Commander's Challenges'. To promote the role, Flair wrestled a bear in a red starred ushanka. It's possible the whole thing was meant to be a bit tongue-in-cheek.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
