R-Truth threatened to make quite a splash when he reappeared on WWE television in 2008 - it really seemed like the promotion were high on the story of the former convict who was desperate to atone for his ways. The character sent out a positive message, one certainly ideal for a company that was all set to go PG and aim itself squarely at young children. Appearing in many of the standard WWE video game releases ever since coming back to the promotion, the real-life Ron Killings who plays the R-Truth character is an avid fan of gaming. During an interview a few years back, primarily to promote the latest WWE game, Truth stated that he had bought WWF WrestleMania for the NES the day it came out. Expanding on this, the man said that he continued to buy each subsequent release, including the likes of WWF Royal Rumble and WWF RAW for consoles such as SNES and the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis. Who knows, next time you bump into R-Truth, either out in public or at a fan signing, mentioning one of these games may bring up some interesting conversation.
