10 Wrestlers You'd Never Expect To Be Huge Gamers

6. AJ Styles

When TNA released their first video game in 2008, AJ Styles couldn't hide his excitement during press appearances to promote the title. Acting like a giddy little kid, the high-flyer noted that he was stoked to finally see himself in digital form, having played wrestling video games for as long as he could remember. Even though he was effectively spending vast quantities of time talking about the competition, AJ was like the proverbial kid in the candy store as he waxed lyrical about how much WWF No Mercy, released on the N64 in 2000, meant to him growing up. Going further, Styles mentioned that he and fellow peer Samoa Joe would often play the game backstage, probably again much to the bemusement of the older legends around them. Virtual Pro Wrestling 2, a game also released for the 64-bit Nintendo console, is another one Styles pumped a lot of hours into. It's likely that the man enjoys playing other types of game, but when quizzed about gaming, it's usually those in the pro wrestling genre that he starts getting excited about.
