5. Call of Duty: Ghosts
Alright. Fair enough. Call of Duty really isn't an exclusive in any sense of the word. It is a series that is about as multiplatform as it gets, appearing on almost every console imaginable. However, if you want the 'premium' Call of Duty experience, it seems like the Xbox One is the one you want. In a somewhat similar arrangement to what is in place now, Microsoft are going to be getting the favour of Activision with the biggest franchise in gaming. While timed releases and possibly a little extra content isn't usually a deal breaker for most series, this is Call of Duty we are talking about. It is the franchise that sells better than any other and who the rest of the industry try to emulate. A timed exclusive means a lot to a fanbase as rabid as Call of Duty's. Getting access to content before PC or PlayStation 4 players could be a real bonus for hardcore fans. It is perhaps upsetting to see such an emphasis once again put on DLC and multiplayer maps, but Microsoft will be very happy to have Activision on board with them. It may not be for you, but it could well be for hundreds of thousands of other people who play the game religiously. Enough to sell an entire console? Well, probably not. But it isn't going to hurt.
