7. Lollipop Chainsaw
This game was the brainchild of Suda 51, so you already know that it's going to be completely random and filled with a lot of humor. It was also written by James Gunn of Dawn of the Dead and Slither fame. You play as cheerleader Juliette Starling who comes from a long line of zombie hunters. It just so happens that the local Goth kid has been spurned by Juliette so takes the ultimate revenge- opening up a portal to the Rotten World and releasing a horde of zombies. Juliette used her huge chainsaw to dispatch of these enemies and most kills were followed by pretty rainbows and sparkles, because...I guess she's a stereotypical cheerleader who likes rainbows and sparkles and stuff. The game also had an amazing soundtrack to waste zombies to. Along with in-game music you also had licensed music from Skrillex, Arch Enemy and Dead or Alive.
