Civilization may be the series that was mentioned the most, but the most commonly referred-to as being a total life-sucker is Warcraft. As of two years ago almost six million hours were played in-game, which we can only imagine what that's become. However in addition, another shocking stat is player Doubleagent enacting the South Park: Make Love, Not Warcraft-way of levelling up, staying in the starting area until they reached level 90. How many hours did this take, you ask? Nothing short of 4,164, which also totals 173.5 full days of constant play. We can only imagine the amount of hot-pockets that were consumed. Although numbers have actually dropped in 2014, Warcraft is still 'the' go-to MMO, reigning supreme for almost 10 straight years this coming November and taking on all comers that emerged across the last decade including Star Wars: Galaxies, Star Trek Online and the ill-conceived The Matrix Online.
