10. Kojima & Del Toro Reunite For A 'Silent Hills'-Style Horror Game
Hideo Kojima breaking away from the (ironically) surveillance camera-filled offices of Konami was like watching your favourite hero bust out a POW camp right at the close of a blockbuster action flick. He promptly saw Sony waiting on the borderline, who snatched him up and wrapped in a warm independent blanket, stacks of cash being stuffed into his pockets in the process. "It's alright, you're safe now" they whispered, "just take some time and get back on your feet". "To hell with that" said Kojima, forever brimming with ideas, "I've got things other than Metal Gear to make". He then set up a new website, revived Kojima Productions, designed a sick new logo and got to it. Right now there are only rumblings of his next project being either a third Zone of the Enders game (please God), or - better yet - a continuation of where the Konami-cancelled Silent Hills reboot left off. What's that Guillermo? You "definitely want to create something" with Kojima after all that's happened? Oh, go on then.
