11 Hotly Anticipated Video Game Sequels That Would Dominate E3

2. Crash Bandicoot

At the tail-end of May there was a particular screenshot that went online (later proven fake - again, Reddit is not the best place for authenticity), but it did little to prevent people getting very excited indeed. In 2015, more than any year previously, there's a huge gap in the market for third-person platformers (something you can see when Rare's Kickstarter for Banjo-Kazooie-followup Yooka-Laylee got funded in 40 minutes flat), making it the perfect time for literally anybody to slap the loveable marsupial's face on something and get it out the door. Original developers Naughty Dog actually don't own the rights to the character any more, so it'd be a major backdoor-dealing switcheroo if they end up re-committing to a franchise they've not touched since 1999. Instead Traveller's Tales' Crash Twinsanity was a fun addition to the pantheon of non-Naughty Dog sequels, so it's possible they could take the orange football and run with it instead.
