11 Hotly Anticipated Video Game Sequels That Would Dominate E3
6. Watch Dogs 2
The only one on this list that wouldn't dominate coverage in a positive way - at least not necessarily anyway. The first Watch Dogs went down about as well as a stuffed pig at a vegan convention thanks to a completely misleading advertising campaign, a delay that made the game considerably worse, and a protagonist that looked more like a sex offender than someone you'd want to control. Nigh-on every gamer reconciled its existence to "that game" whose only record-breaking thing was the amount of "Most Disappointing" lists it topped with flying colours. However, with all that said - would you give Ubisoft another chance to redeem themselves? Do they deserve it - and is the core idea of Watch Dogs salvageable? Could you care again? Whatever happens, if another Watch Dogs gets shown this soon, it'd get everybody talking - much like every subsequent Assassin's Creed does each year. At some point the reality of just how much money was thrown at this potential franchise has to pay off somewhere down the line, and it'd be interesting either way to see if Ubisoft's lengthy overlapping development times can even account for the mistakes they made.
