11 Off-Map Video Game Secrets You Won't Believe
1. Krotchy's Colosseum - Postal 2 (2003)
Postal 2 is a game notorious for its graphic violence and all-round controversial nature. With this in mind, maybe you'd expect there to be a ton of off-map secrets dotted around the place, away from the eyes of naysaying critics and reserved only for its true fans. And sure enough, there are - but I HIGHLY doubt you found this one without the Wiki.
First off, you can only access this easter egg on Friday of the in-game timeline. When you get to a stepladder in a brightly lit corridor, your goal is to try and shunt it over to the other side of the room (if it falls over, which it will, you're going to be at this for quite a while).
Succeed in this, and you can climb up the ladder to reach a ledge that doesn't feature at all on the main map. You'll even get an achievement for it, oddly enough.
The room will take you around to a circular area, in which you'll find the aptly-named mascot, Krotchy, fighting another character, Gary, with a rocket launcher. Or, more specifically, two Krotchys against two Garys.
While not exactly a shift in tone, the whole situation is utterly surreal, and a hilarious sight to behold. Be careful if you get involved, however, because your phallic foes aren't going to offer much wiggle room when they shove their giant blasters in your face...
