11 Reasons Call Of Duty Advanced Warfare Has Saved The Series

5. Play How You Want

One of the big attractions of the multiplayer in Call of Duty games is the loadout system. Adding a meta-game on top of the actual matches themselves, things like perks and customisable weapons has allowed players to come up with their own 'unique' style of playing depending on their preferences. Advanced Warfare brings back the 'Pick Ten' system of Black Ops II, this time allowing for thirteen points to accommodate the new Exo Suit abilities. These points can be spent on things like weapons, weapon attachments, 'wildcards', and perks. Additionally, it's also now possible to customise your individual scorestreaks with special bonuses, such as UAVs with faster positional tracking and Orbital Care Packages that explode if enemies try to steal them. Creating a class that suits how you want to play has never been more streamlined, and the ridiculous amount of options feels versatile without being imbalanced or overwhelming.
