11 Types Of Players Everyone HATES In Multiplayer Video Games

2. The Camper

The Gaming Dictionary Definition of 'Camping' could be summed up as an opponent who takes a long-range weapon, perches themselves on the furthest and most unreachable corner of a map and never leaves the spot.

Their idea of victory is to pick off other players one at a time, never once stepping out of the shadows and joining their team in the bigger frays.

As mentioned earlier on in this article, charging headfirst into a battle will only get yourself killed over and over again, but sometimes birds must kick their chicks out the nest to see if they can fly.

The Camper actively thinks they are contributing to the game - which is adorably embarrassing at face value. While every player who takes a sniper rifle thinks they're Deadshot, the truth is they often don't hit anything at all and when they aren't missing, their kill-count contribution to the game is the bare minimum.

A participant whose solo strategy is to stay (in some games, miles) out of the battle in their far away bird's nest and bravely pick off the other players, probably has a very distorted interpretation of what they consider challenging.

And who says gaming takes skill?

I overthink a lot of things. Will talk about pretty much anything for a great length of time. I'm obsessed with General Slocum from the 2002 Spider-Man film. I have questions that were never answered in that entire trilogy!
