9. Demon's Souls

For a good few years now, there've been rumblings that a Demon's Souls remaster is in the works. These leaks haven't been all that big - mostly the occasional insider confirming that it's happening without elaborating as to how, why or when - but there's been enough of them to pretty much guarantee that it will drop sooner or later.

Whether it releases on PS4 or PS5 is a completely different question, but considering how far into this generation we are now, it could be that the game is being saved for Sony's upcoming console launch.

After all, the original game - unlike its successor, Dark Souls - was co-developed by Sony's Japan Studio and released exclusively on the PS3. Consequently, with no Bloodborne 2 in sight, a fully remastered Demon's Souls would work in a similar vein, securing the PS5 a sought-after title right out of the gate.
