11 Upcoming PS5 Games We Know Are In Development

At this point, they might as well just straight up announce Black Ops 5, because everyone knows it's coming. Originally, the plan was for Sledgehammer Games - the team behind COD WW2 and Advanced Warfare - to release a title set during the Vietnam and Korean Wars, but that project apparently turned out to be a complete disaster.

According to insider sources, Sledgehammer and Raven Software were co-developing the game, but Activision were displeased with the progress. To salvage the work, the publisher has apparently called in Treyarch to transform it into a Black Ops sequel, with the two other teams on support duties.

It sounds like a bit of a mess, but it's probably a smart move to get all hands on deck considering Call of Duty 2020 will be the first next-gen game in the series, and it needs to impress.
