8. Dr. Salvador - Resident Evil 4
Resident Evil 4 was a brilliantly made creep-fest that was practically filled with characters that made our skin crawl and our hair stand on end.
One of the most unpleasant of these was Dr. Salvador, also imaginatively known as The Chainsaw Man.
He appears without warning, a potato sack over his head with handy eye holes cut into it and a whacking great chainsaw in his hands that he revs up as he prepares to decapitate Leon Kennedy.
Not an awful lot more is known about Dr. Salvador, other than that he is named as such in his in-game Bottlecap trophy, and that there is a local legend that he is immortal.
The nature of his title of Doctor is fairly ambiguous, and his clothing certainly indicates that he is more farmer than medical practitioner.
You could be forgiven for speculating that he is not, in fact, a doctor, and instead is only referred to as such thanks to his proficiency at removing heads from bodies.
