11 Video Games With Severely Underused Secondary Characters

4. Blade Wolf - Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

Blade Wolf is the single most interesting character of Revengeance. At the same time, it's an artificially born cyborg built for killing, but also a surprisingly befitting reminder of Raiden's own humanity throughout the game. After nearly killing it, Raiden decides to help the creature due to it possessing an extreme level of intelligence and self-awareness - especially for a Metal Gear. This cyborg comes out more humane than our own protagonist, as he is more concerned about his fellow man than an actual fellow man. Playing a vital role in Raiden's survival, as well as being a connection to his more social personality (the other one being a version of Jack the Ripper), Blade Wolf has proven himself an extremely valuable asset when it comes to supporting his friend on missions. Even more fascinatingly, this creature despises murder and resorts to it only if there is no other choice.
