7. Dragon Age Origins: The Darkspawn Chronicles

Some may say DLC doesn’t count, but hey, this is your list and a lot of you wanted this one mentioned so let’s do it. The Darkspawn Chronicles DLC lets you play not as the valiant Warden, but as darkspawn. Specifically, a Hurlock vanguard who is champion to the Archdemon and capable of commanding Darkspawn thralls.

The DLC takes us back to before the Joining ceremony and proceeds along the Origins timeline as if the Warden had died, so you’ll be up against Alistair and his forces. In the final battle you’ll need to straight up take on and kill off the heroes that make up the party of the main game. If that’s not enough to whet your appetite, the dog in the DLC is called Barkspawn. A+.
