Back before a racing game's appeal was routed in a range of perfectly-rendered exhaust nozzles, we were all having a whale of a time bashing the axles off each other in this titanic franchise. Created by Reflections Interactive, the same guys that would then go on to make Driver before being snapped up by Ubisoft to help on things like Watch Dogs, they initially showed what they could do in the year that vehicular combat kicked into overdrive.
