9. Cuphead

Alongside another Forza game as the only notable Xbox One exclusive this side of Christmas, Sept. 29th will finally see a finished version of Cuphead hit retail.

Originally set up to mix its gorgeous old-school cartoon style with gameplay comprised only of beating a number of bosses in quick succession, the response was so overwhelmingly positive, the devs decided to create an entire campaign with worlds and levels, too.

The result is one of the most visually striking games in history, but one that will have to have more to its combat than just a Mega Man-lite blend of base platforming and run n' gun blasting.
