4. The Batmobile - Batman: Arkham Knight

When you forget about Arkham Knight's atrocious launch and actually consider the game on its own merits, it was a fantastic addition to Rocksteady's Arkham franchise.

Unfortunately, there's one majorly divisive aspect, and that's the controversial addition of the Batmobile.

The game fails to reconcile the inherent brutality of the Batmobile with the Dark Knight's staunch no-kill rule, and while though the game insists that you can violently plow through pedestrians and merely "shock" them, it's not particularly convincing that the decimated civilians are in fact going to walk away in one piece.

The battles against drone machinery and tanks alike meanwhile add a lot of tedium to the game, and on the whole, adding the Batmobile feels like opening a can of worms that should've been left firmly closed all along.
