12 Best FPS Multiplayer Maps Of All Time

6. Arica Harbor - Battlefield: Bad Company 2

The greatest map of recent years in Battlefield is by no means its most elaborately-designed one, taking place in a semi-constructed industrial town in the middle-east. Combat in Bad Company 2 was smaller-scale and faster than other Battlefield games, and this was embodied in Arica. The map had a fantastic skirmish feel about it, mixing up long lines of sight, openness, with intense combat in the main town. There were plenty of sniping spots amidst the shrubbery and rocks surrounding the map, destructible buildings in the town itself, and a dangerous central road which it was always a heart-pumping thrill to try and sprint across. The buildings of varying heights also gave it a nice multi-layered feel. Anyone doubting whether Battlefield can do non-vehicular small-scale combat as well as rival shooters needs to head down to Arica Harbor.
