12 Best PS4 Exclusives Of 2017 (So Far)
8. Nier: Automata
Yoko Taro's Nier: Automata is like nothing else you will ever play in this year or any other. A beguiling, genre-bending exercise, Automata may occasionally suffer from overly drab environments, but it's nevertheless propped up by its slick, varied combat and thematically-rich story.
Taro's typical eccentricities are out in full force, and though this ensures it won't be for everyone, if you enjoyed the previous Nier or are craving something a little different from the typical open-world action RPG, this is an easy recommendation.
Plus, considering how many lengthy quality titles there are across platforms this year, it's somewhat refreshing that this one can be easily beaten in 15-20 hours. It's not going to eat up your life, though the side content can still easily double that play-time if not more.
