2. Green Lantern - Injustice: Gods Among Us

Lantern is a hard character to make work onscreen, which is why I was so happy Injustice completely nailed him.

From Jordan's vast array of powers being cranked up far past 'Fan Service' and straight into 'Holy Sh*t!', the Emerald Crusader graced NetherRealm's fantastic beat 'em up with the appropriate sense of regality and charm that comes with owning one of the most powerful items in the cosmos.

Where his only other game, Rise of the Manhunters, held back a little on letting Jordan conjure up the craziest items and use them on his opponents. Injustice's fatality-esque finishers see him sandwiching foes in between multiple vehicles, whipping out a chaingun mid-fight, or ending battles by travelling back to his home planey of Oa for a truly iconic finish.

Green Lantern is one of DC's only mainstays not to make an appearance or even be talked about in the DCU - but the Injustice version is stupidly fun to play as, in all the ways fans have imagined for years.
