12 Best Superhero Video Games That Totally Nailed Their Characters

1. Batman - Batman: Arkham

Naturally, the series that revolutionised how everyone thinks of superhero video games from top to bottom, also has within it the greatest depiction of Batman ever seen in any medium.

From the grace, fluidity and especially the brutality of how Bruce moves, to the utilisation of his various gadgets, appearances of things like the Batmobile and Batwing or just the smattering of side-kicks and villains that help round out his motivations, Rocksteady's take on the character is one for the ages.

At this stage, Arkham Knight has concluded and nothing is on the cards for the immediate future. However, it's very unlikely that Rocksteady's gorgeous game engine that was completely remodelled and revamped in AK will only be used for one outing - so expect Warner Bros. to pick up the torch sooner or later.
