8. Playing The Cardboard Piano - Nintendo Labo
Say what you like about Nintendo Labo "just being for kids" or "just being a load of cardboard", once you get the piano constructed and start plonking out a few notes, it's damn-near magical.
Quite clearly because you started the project with just a few sheets of card, making it into this IR sensor-scanning suite of play-along tunes, recordable notes and drum machine tracking feels amazing.
The Labo offers a ton of creativity once you set about exploring the ToyCon Garage (where you can assign any sensor or button to any output action, coding small sequences of things to happen), but the piano is one of the first "Yup, this technology is incredible" realisations.
