Media Molecule made their name in the PS3 era with the Little Big Planet trilogy, a series of 2.5D platformers whose USP was allowing players to use the game's assests to make their own levels.

However, whereas the LBP games restricted players to creating platformers, Dreams allowed players' imaginations to run wild and create games across multiple genres.

PS4 owners across the world have done Media Molecule proud, producing quality entertainment across almost every viable genre and game type.

Highlights include kaiju-simulator Ruckus; comedy chef game Southpaw Cooking; and Four Seasons, a still-in-development adventure set in the Avatar: The Last Airbender universe (that may legitmately end up being the best Avatar game ever).

It's true that Dreams hasn't made the biggest impact on the gaming landscape since its release. But if you've ever wanted to flex your creative muscles, or marvel over what a truly dedicated amateur can accomplish, then Dreams is a very worthwhile experience.
