12 Essential Gaming Sequels That Must Be Announced In 2015

1. Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic III

Kings of the Western RPG alongside Bethesda, Bioware's take on the Star Wars lore was to take it away from the established events of the movies (thereby doing away with any direct comparisons) and instead letting you have your own adventure, filled with everything from customisable lightsabers to Wookies, alien companions and blaster-happy bounty hunters. In short, it was fantastic, and if you happened to pick up their latest effort with Dragon Age: Inquisition only to be blown away by that series' 'pause and issue commands' combat system, you'll be pleased to know it works a treat here too. Bioware would leave the series to hit n' miss developers Obsidian following the first instalment, leaving just as many fans happy with the events of the sequel as those who essentially say it didn't happen (much like the later Star Wars movies). But, with Bioware back on top form following Inquisition and such a rich tapestry of fiction to pull apart, their return to The Old Republic as an MMO in 2011 was a solid one, albeit not the main iteration that fans of the original wanted. Which long-awaited or much-needed sequel do you want to at least be announced in 2015? Let us know in the comments!
