Another for DICE and their Frostbite tech, Battlefield is the dark n' grimy, soil-covered alternative to the high-falutin' space lasers and Star Destroyers of Star Wars.

Thankfully, Frostbite seems built to do any time period justice, as Battlefield 1 just looks incredible; DICE having put together a game that took all of us back to World War 1.

As a fairly untapped point in time when it comes to gaming, DICE really took the time to accurately model all sorts of weaponry, landscapes and uniforms for all sides, the end result being a faithful, respectable tribute to such a monumental event in history.
