https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6Yf60eQYDE Obviously the LEGO games are meant to be a humorous take on their live action counterparts, appealing to gamer nostalgia for the days before video games replaced toys. Obviously, soul-sucking wraiths that are used to guard wizard prisons and are scarier than Satan himself didn't fit the game's overall cute concept and had to be dumb down somewhat. No criticism here though: there is something truly hilarious about how this game turned the dementors into cartoons that explode when Harry hits them with spells. Without even trying, LEGO Harry Potter deals immortal, nightmarish evil an ingenuous blow it won't walk back from.
