Finally Gearbox Software has announced the return of the famous franchise. The villainous Calypso Twins are trying to forge an alliance of bandits and brigands to build a super massive weapon to destroy the universe - and its your job to stop them.

Choose from four new Vault Hunters to shoot and loot across the planet of Pandora. You can choose from Amara (a Siren with giant ghost fists), Moze (a Gunner who rides a mechanical bear), Zane (an Operative with an army of drones and gadgets) and FL4K (Robotic Beastmaster). Gearbox confirmed that the Slag mechanic has been replaced by Radiation a new type of elemental damage. Claptrap the slightly annoying robot companion also makes a return in Borderlands 3.

Borderlands 3 will initially release on the Epic Games Store and PS4/Xbox One before ending up on Steam. Gearbox recently announced that a gameplay reveal with even more details is coming on May 1st.
