12 Insanely Stressful Gaming Moments You'll Never Play Again

2. Ornstein And Smough - Dark Souls

If you could pick one boss to bring into real life just so you could batter them mercilessly, who would it be? That's quite the subjective question as everyone from Final Fantasy X's Yunalesca to Metal Gear Solid 2's Ray mechs spring to mind - but even if you stacked all those frustrations on top of each other, it wouldn't even come close to tackling the horrific mess of a fight that is Ornstein and Smough. It's safe to say the Souls' combat isn't the most dynamic or animated of sorts, and when you're half battling with the camera, locking onto two characters that can move far faster than you and dealing with the fact whoever you kill first ends up buffing the second, even if you scrape through the first half of the battle you'll get taken out by some screen-filling attacks and have to restart the whole thing again. The feeling when you eventually overcome this is second to none, but even approaching the thought of having to do it all again is genuinely sickening.
